Solstice Bikepacking Trip
We're celebrating the longest day of the year doing what we do best: riding our bikes.
This will be a fun, party-paced bikepacking trip. We'll cool off with frequent dips in the river and reservoir. And for those able to leave early enough, we'll stop in Midway to grab dinner at @thepizzayard.
How hard is this ride? It's subjective. For those that came on our Big Springs ride, we'd place that at a 1/10. This ride is maybe more of a 3/10. It's about 25 miles each way and 2,200 ft of elevation gain.
There is more gravel, more climbing, and a longer ride. But still very beginner-friendly. Wider tires will do better on the gravel sections.
For this trip, we want a headcount on who is planning on coming. If you want to join (or if you just want more info), please email info@provobikehub.org.
We can send you the meeting place, route map, and approximate camping location.
We're here to help facilitate a positive experience, so please, if you are curious about bikepacking, reach out! We're happy to help you out.
